Good evening, Traders,
MFTH (Medisafe 1 Technologies) - my new medical technology pick that has a patented, life-saving technology that prevents healthcare professionals from administering the wrong medicine - is now in serious discussions with the companies that will aid it toward full commercialization of its products.
Using a barcode reader, the device confirms that the medication and dosage contained within a syringe are correctly intended for a medical patient. Upon electronic confirmation, the syringe locking-device opens, allowing for the administration of the syringe's contents.
MFTH intends to begin licensing the technology to commercial entities during the first quarter of 2011.
Top 5 Recent Developments
#1. Medisafe Receives Endorsement for National Implementation
Just a few days ago, MFTH announced that Israel's Pharmaceuticals Administration received this prestigious endorsement for the national implementation of its barcoded syringe locking device. This endorsement was the final of a series of meetings with officials related to the life-saving device.
Following official endorsement, Medisafe 1 Technologies has been in discussion with a leading Israeli Pharmaceuticals company to partner in streamlining the production process the introduction of the device at Israeli Medical Centers. This could lead to a surge in sales should this lead to enhanced production.
#2. Medisafe Generates Significant Interest from Medical Professionals, Manufacturers, Marketers and Insurance Companies
In November, MFTH generated significant interest at both the HealthAchieve Conference and the annual Medica 2010 Exhibition which is the world's LARGEST annual exhibition in the medical sector, with over 135,000 participants and 4,000 exhibitors arriving from over 100 nations.
"Officials... have been duly impressed with the potential of our locking devices to reduce hospital injuries and save lives, thus reducing the legal and insurance related costs associated with running hospitals," said, Jacob Elhadad, CEO of Medisafe 1 Technologies.
A report drawn up by a third-party on Medisafe 1 Technologies' exhibit stated the following, "The overall response was overwhelmingly favorable. The features and benefits of the system were immediately apparent and the spontaneous response was almost always that this is a great product.
#3. Medisafe Announces Commercialization Phase to Begin During Q1 2011
This announcement could put early entrants in a ground-floor opportunity. "Within just a few months, Medisafe 1 Technologies has been able to develop a commercially viable product for the multi-billion dollar healthcare industry," according to MFTH's CEO.
#4. Medisafe Approves Development of Life-Saving Products for Intravenous Infusion and Blood Banks
Also in November, Medisafe announced that MFTH will now seek to develop bar-coded locking devices for intravenous infusion bags, as well as blood transfusion bags.
Guess who is interested?
Well, in January, the company initiated discussions to implement the company's safety pre-matching locking device technology for blood transfusion vials with Israel's national Emergency Medical Services Provider who oversee the entire Nation's Blood Banks.
The locking devices will physically prevent the intravenous administration of medications or blood, unless the prescribed dosages and/or blood type of the intended patient are first confirmed electronically.
"We are hopeful that the future implementation of the technology in Israel Blood Banks if approved can lead to its implementation in other countries. We have similarly initiated discussions with blood banks in the United States." stated Company management.
#5. Medisafe Adds Compatibility Feature to Allow More Accurate Hospital Records and Eliminate Medical Errors
In December, MFTH announced that a customizable ERP Compatibility feature has been added to the Company's barcoded locking syringe.
The feature enables a hospital's existing barcoding system to electronically record the administration of a particular medication directly to a patient's medical file.
Using an ERP system, an attending physician or nurse would need only to scan a patient's barcode to view the particular medications and dosages that are required to be administered. Upon scanning the appropriate corresponding barcode on the actual medication, the locking device would open, enabling the administration of the particular syringe.

What the Bulls Say...
For the past few months MFTH’s market valuation has been trading at consistent levels, thus building up a strong support position.
Looking at the chart we can see that MFTH has witnessed several sessions with LITTLE RESISTANCE.
Which is why I strongly believe that entering MFTH right now could potentially provide traders with solid short-term profits as the company continues to expand and to acquire a growing market share.
Keep your trading station focused on Medisafe 1 Technologies (OTCBB: MFTH) since it is ready to make an explosive move to the upside!
