With tough new nutritional standards being rolled out through US schools, PSNX is looking to meet and capitalize on these new regulatory standards by offering "good for you", functional foods and snacks.

PSNX currently has product placement in venues such as Toronto's SickKids hospital, catering to children with strict dietary restrictions, which can be replicated in similar venues throughout North America.

PSNX also recently showcased its products at a 2-day event Oregon hosted by a company that distributes more than 85K products through a distribution network of over 40K locations.

Just How Big Is This Industry?

Healthy snacks and functional foods continue to grow with astounding figures, already posting multi-billions of dollars in annual revenue each year. 

And here's the thing, many people think it's still "in its infancy"... as in "early stage"... as in "ground floor"... which is just the kind of situation we're on the lookout for.

But make no mistake about it, although this industry continues to grow at a rapid pace, it's already a BEAST:

• Global Industry Analytics projects global market for snack foods to exceed 630 Billion Dollars by 2020.
• Europe ($167 billion) and North America ($124 billion) make up the majority of worldwide snack sales (2014)
• Nearly 94% of Americans snack at least once a day according to Mintel

IN fact, Millennials (consumers age 21-38) are significantly more likely to snack compared to older consumers with 24 percent of Millennials most likely to snack frequently, four or more times per day, and 23 percent snacking more this year compared to last year:

• Mintel research also shows that the Millennial generation snacks for function and to stay focused throughout the day with 39 percent snacking for energy.
• iGen/Millennials are drawn to organic snacks and products with added nutrition, including protein and vitamins
• nearly one third (30 percent) of parents are serving healthier snacks to their children, particularly 33 percent of Millennial parents.

Also of note, the sugar substitutes market is estimated to be valued at 13.26 Billion Dollars in 2015!


Conclusion:

The numbers are huge. The products are both original and timely.

And as exciting as those two facts are, they are only the beginning. PSNX has a history of mind-boggling runs!

After its epic 231% run earlier this year it has slid back to the level it started its run at.

Now, just this week, volume has started to climb significantly.

Last Friday volume was about 13K... today it was 282K!

PSNX is trading with an RSI of about 39, which means it is somewhat in oversold territory. This level suggests that there is a possibility of a bounce from current levels.

The 12-month high is 0.895 so PSNX shouldn't be looked at as a lightweight by any means.

Currently it sits about half way below its 50-Day Moving Average. Could see a 50% climb towards it's 30-day high... or beyond?
