Thursday's New Alert Is!

Our play from earlier this week ended up offering some real opportunity for gains from what we saw. After the initial run up on Tuesday of 10% from the open, NWTR managed to go on another jaunt from yesterday morning’s lows of $0.1455 to today’s high of $0.175 to catch another run of up to 20%. Congrats to everyone making this a winner and with that, we’re ready for MORE!
Tonight we’re focusing on a company that’s just starting to gain some real notoriety in the market and many are calling it an “IPO Style” play. To us that means this next one could be so fresh and we’ll be some of the first to really catch a glimpse of it; First mover advantage? Sunx Energy (SNXG) has been building up its volume this week and after looking at the chart, this may be another “right place, right time” scenario to take a closer look. The company is focused on making 2015 a banner year and for good reason. The solar industry is hot right now and every country from those in the UK & US to places like Mexico are taking notice of the massive impact this form of power production can have on an economy.
Major Growth For Solar:
Leading investment bank Citigroup has painted an incredibly bright future for solar energy across the globe, arguing that its “rapid expansion will be driven by ‘pure economics’ and the growing need for diversity.” The US Energy Information Administration (eia) projects that total renewables use for electricity and heat generation will grow by 2.1% in 2014. EIA expects continued robust growth in solar electricity generation, although the amount of utility-scale generation remains a small share of total U.S. generation at about 0.6% in 2015.
In a recent press release, SNXG illustrated that the plan for 2015 is to increase market share by breaking ground in both the residential as well as the commercial segment. Many proponents of the solar industry see the growing pace of solar deployment specifically in the commercial segment. Companies like Wal-Mart Stores, Costco, IKEA, McGraw-Hill, Johnson & Johnson, and FedEx are all adopting solar energy in a big way! With so much expansion on the horizon, SNXG may not have been able to pick a better time to jump into the ring.
