About Us
PTA Holdings, Inc. (PTAH) organized in the state of Nevada in 2005 is a holding company with operating divisions as suppliers of logistics and transportation services. PTA holdings acquired Kingsley Logistic Group in 2012. Kingsley Logistics Group is a multi-faceted transportation group providing traditional transportation services that include LTL & truckload, intermodal, rail, warehousing & distribution, equipment leasing, brokerage and 3PL and special projects business groups. Kingsley's business strategy calls for expansion of the PTA Holdings through the execution of an aggressive acquisition plan (the "roll-up" strategy).
Kingsley is well positioned to take advantage of the transportation industry's growing trend toward global logistics, distribution and supply chain management, paying attention to the acquisition of small to medium sized companies that we define generating revenues of 2.0 to 20 million of annual revenues as targets of our roll-up strategy. The company will deploy a combination of transportation software and website technology, for the consolidation of its roll-up of supply chain subsidiaries, including truck and inter-modal transportation units, warehousing and storage facilities, logistics management and related technology functions to gain synergistic benefits resulting from it's acquisitions.
Company Perspectives
Our operating strategy is to achieve a high level of asset utilization within a highly disciplined operating system while maintaining strict controls over our cost structure. To achieve these goals, we operate primarily in high-density, predictable traffic lanes in select geographic regions, and attempt to develop and expand our customer base around each of our terminal facilities. This operating strategy allows us to take advantage of the large amount of freight traffic transported in regional markets, realize the operating efficiencies associated with regional hauls, and offer more flexible service to our customers than rail, intermodal, and other regional competitors. In addition, shorter hauls provide an attractive alternative to drivers in the truckload sector by reducing the amount of time spent away from home. We believe this improves driver retention, decreased recruitment and training costs, and reduces insurance claims and other costs. Our goal is to increase our market presence significantly, both in existing operating regions and in other areas where we believe the freight environment meets our operating strategy, while seeking to achieve industry-leading operating margins and returns on investment. Our team, products, technology, solutions, and technical resources will provide customers with world class service, information and controls over their product cost and status of shipping activities within their supply chain.
