UBIQ Board is in agreement that the current success, and expected scale of the studio business warrant a separate strategy and the status as a stand-alone entity.”
Spin Offs can be big win for shareholders who then own shares in the parent company as well as a proportional amount of shares in the new standalone company. Sometimes the best way to unlock shareholder value is to create new companies which is exactly what a tech incubator like UBIQ does.
There is little surprise UBIQ is racing up the charts; the Company has been putting out some huge press recently; UBIQ announced its licensee: iWebGate Limited has secured funding of $8.575 million to accelerate customer growth. Ubiquity’s CEO Chris Carmichael said: “We are pleased that our licensee, which is distributing Sprocket to Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications company, is receiving additional funding to expand all of its customer relationships.”
UBIQ announced it has signed a five-year, $3.75 million licensing deal with Dash Radio for its premier product: the Sprocket. Dash Radio, founded by CEO Scott “DJ SKEE” Keeney, and other technology luminaries, is the world’s largest digital radio network. DJ SKEE has selected Ubiquity Studios to film his top rated series SKEE TV, which airs on Fuse on Friday nights to over 73 million households in the US.
UBIQ is currently exploding up the charts on an influx of massive volume. When UBIQ moves Investors need to pay attention; the last time it ran in April it moved 800% in less than a week. With the chart lining up like it is, I don’t know how long this window will be open before a BIG move slams it shut, especially with the recent blockbuster news.
