Overview
ECDI was founded to provide casino management software and hardware solutions for casinos and gaming facilities that had otherwise been overlooked or under supplied by traditional gaming software providers.
The result of these efforts by ECDI is the Tahoe Casino Management System, a robust, intuitive and in many ways revolutionary casino management system. Five years after the deployment of the first system, thousands of games and tens of thousands of players utilize the Tahoe system everyday.
The gaming industry is large, resilient and ever expanding ($80 billion annually in the United States alone). From traditional commercial and tribal casinos in the United States to emerging markets all over the world the need for casino management systems is very real and many times legally required. Many governments now require the use of casino management systems for taxation and regulation.
A casino management system is the nervous system of the casino. It provides the casino with vital statistics and information about the games, players and financial movements of the casino allowing the operator to not only see trends, but also the management of the real-time transactions within the casino. This vital software is coupled with proprietary hardware to gather both game and player data as well as provide ticket, credit and cash transactions.
Traditional providers of this software include the large slot manufactures such as Bally's, IGT and Aristocrat. While their systems typically provide the core requirements, but are not suited for emerging markets and are typically not customized to the individual needs of each casino. These products are both expensive and rigid in their design and function, which has forced customers to compromise their expectations and ultimately their results.
The Tahoe system fulfills the need for a system to meet the customer’s expectations, provide reliable and accurate accounting and transactional data while being both affordable and highly supportable.
The Tahoe system provides a reliable, scalable, and supportable solution for its clients. The Tahoe CMS (Casino Management System) provides all the transactional, analytical and reporting data possible, while allowing for customizations based on the clients particular needs and jurisdictional requirements. Tahoe CMS provides a cost effective reliable solution.
The Tahoe system has been purposely built from the ground up. ECDI's team has not only created a reliable and robust solution but has created many innovative and industry firsts.
ECDI has continued to meet its customer's needs by developing reporting mechanisms for governmental agencies including the government of Mexico.
ECDI was the third company to receive certification for the government of Mexico's SAT casino reporting program. ECDI is currently working with several Latin American countries to provide similar services.
ECDI continues to innovate and provide reliable and robust solutions and support for the gaming industry. As the industry evolves and grows so does the need for the Tahoe product line. The gaming industry has responded in a very positive way to the reliable, customizable and affordable Tahoe CMS product line.

Joint Venture
EC Development (ECDI), is entering into a joint venture known as Slot One which will focus on the development and installation of Class II slot machines in Casinos on a revenue sharing basis. Revenue sharing is a normal model used in many tribal casino and secondary jurisdictions.
In this model, casinos enter into a revenue sharing agreement with Slot One that will provide the joint venture a 20% share of the gross revenue of each slot machine installed by Slot One.
These slot machines are installed at no cost to the casinos and there venue share will be paid on a monthly basis. Casinos enjoy this arrangement as the casino incurs no new cost and the Class II games are not taxed. States charge a tax of up to 35% of the gross revenue earned by Class III slot machines.
This tax does not apply to Class II gaming devices. ECDI will receive one third of the revenue from Slot One, less the cost of the slot machines.
ECDI will contribute its new “BingoEngine” software, designed by ECDI to run on Class II machines. This software is “state of the art’ and can be designed to be used in conjunction with the Tahoe Casino Management System with player tracking.
When the new Class II machines are installed by Slot One it will provide an upsale opportunity for ECDI's Tahoe System. Currently Slot One has a Revenue Sharing Agreement with the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma to install 50 machines in their Thunderbird Casino in Norman, OK. These machines should have an average of $300.00 per day of gross revenue per machine.
