Thinspace Technology, Inc. (THNS) is a global provider of reliable, scalable and affordable application delivery, virtualization, and cloud client technology to public and private sector companies and organizations of all sizes.
THNS's "list of private and public sector customers include NASA, PWC, Deutsche Bank, Toyota, as well as, NHS, local councils, universities, schools, and housing associations," a Mar. 28 press release stated.
Most recently, THNS announced that Peruvian managed IT provider Technology Systems S.A.C. (Tecnosys), has extended its long term sales partnership with the company.
Sales partnership with Tecnosys
Tecnosys has been a partner of THNS since 2008 offering TSE/Onegate solution and providing discounts to their customers, a Mar. 28 press release stated. Today, Tecnosys has expanded its commercial ties to Bolivia and Ecuador and is focused on expanding its products and service offerings.
"We have introduced Thinspace Technology in the Peruvian market with great success, because it is a solution that offers powerful features at a reasonable price, something customers greatly appreciate in Peru," said Antonio Macchiavello, Chief Executive Officer of Tecnosys in the Mar. 28 press release. "Today we have around 200 customers of all sizes with licensing from 5 users to 2,200 users."
The extension of this partnership allows the managed provider to continue selling Thinspace's Pano VDI Solution for desktop virtualization, and provide additional product offerings, such as desktop services and application delivery solution that uses RDP 8, and a cloud-based hosted desktop service that will provide customers the ability to access their Microsoft desktop from any device, like an iPad or Android tablet, the Mar. 28 press release stated.
Long-standing relationship with Indian logistics company
"DTDC Ltd. is India's Largest Express Delivery Network, comprising of over 5800 Channel Partners spread across the country and a strength of 22,000 professionals enabling deliveries of [11M] consignments per month across over 10,000 pin-codes in India," a Mar. 27 press release stated.
THNS's Propalms OneGate solution allows thousands of DTDC customers and partners to securely access real time information, the Mar. 27 press release stated.
Last week, THNS announced that it is continuing its long-standing relationship with the Indian logistics company.
A Thinspace customer since 2009, DTDC has continued to renew its annual maintenance and support contracts with the company to ensure continuity of service to their users, the Mar. 27 press release stated.
"For DTDC to grow and succeed, it was crucial to have real-time access of courier data available to our regional offices and agents at minimal cost," said Satyajit Sarkar, Chief Executive Officer of DTDC Ltd. in the Mar. 27 press release. "We could not have achieved this by deploying leased lines or MPLS. We relied on broadband Internet and used Propalms OneGate to access our business applications. The OneGate solution runs with thousands of user logins every day, feeding data in real time in our applications so that our customers can track their courier status every second."
Deutsche Bank extends multi-year customer relationship for Propalms TSE and OneGate products
THNS also recently announced that "one of its largest enterprise customers, Deutsche Bank, has extended its already four year long customer relationship with the [company], signing on for a continuance of its maintenance contracts for Propalms TSE and OneGate application delivery and virtualization products."
Deutsche Bank AG India, a THNS customer since 2010, deployed Propalms TSE for virtualizing applications and delivering applications from its Windows Terminal Server, according to a Mar. 24 press release.
German global bank and financial services company, Deutsche Bank, is the largest foreign exchange dealer in world with around 100,000 employees globally. Of that, 7,800 employees, spread throughout 15 branches in India and operating under Deutsche Bank AG India, are responsible for check collection and data entry. Deutsche Bank AG India, through its more than 500 vendors, supports customers in tier 1 and tier 2 cities, the Mar. 24 press release stated.
"Having explored a few competitive products, Propalms TSE has proved to be the most highly cost effective, quick and simple solution for our back office requirements," said Derrick Crasta, CTO CTB, Deutsche Bank AG, India in the Mar. 24 press release. "Our nationwide users use TSE and VPN to connect to our data center and run back office applications with speed and simplicity. In addition, their customer support team is exception and over the years, has been very good in responding and resolving the support tickets. We are very satisfied with their product and are pleased to continue our relationship with Thinspace moving forward."
