The Houstonchronicle.com in a April 22 news article stated some pretty interesting numbers about Texas' oil and gas output. According to the article (which you can see for yourself here), Texas is on a path that will put it ahead of all OPEC countries except Saudi Arabia - this oil and gas production bonanza is expected to happen by the end of 2014.
According to the article, oil output will reach around 3.4M barrels of oil per day and this has left many in the industry bullish about the state of things in Texas.
This bullish sentiment and of course the developing events dovetails nicely with my latest pick, a company involved in helping oil and gas producers handle the waste that comes from production - particularly waste natural gas.
